Cabin pollen filter

If you remove the one already fitted you may find some identification marks.

This looks like the OEM part number, but double check with the dealer and its price.
I would imagine over £30.00 myself.
OEM filters are about £28.00 on line and with very quick check, I found an after market filter for about £24.00.
So not a great difference in the price really.
Bit more searching required first I think ?.

Update :- Just spotted this, be quick !.

Just had mine done at second service and they charged £23 plus VAT for the bit.
When I got the car back the fan was making strange noises so I took the new filter out and found debris in the fan. Clearly when they took the old one out it dropped down onto the fan. Cleared the debris, which is difficult due to access and put it all back together, noise cured.
I pointed this out to the garage but had no response yet, the very least I hoped for was an apology.
Will probably do it myself next time.

Is there a difference between the cabin air filter and the pollen filter?

Is there an advantage to purchase the MG one vs for example a Bosch R2598 Cabin Air Filter ?

Only questions are, does it fit and do the job (same spec).
