can you set nfotainment screen to dark permanently

I am finding on my MG4 that the infotainment screen often turn to light mode when it is dark outside. I can change this by turning the auto lights off and on again but it would be easier if I could set the screen onto dark permanently. Can this be done and if so how?

I’m fairly certain this is an option in either the vehicle settings, or the general settings menu. Some stuff can be found under the vehicle symbol (where you also find the MG pilot features etc) and some stuff is under the little cog symbol, not always where one would expect it.

Mine is always dark as far as I know. I don’t drive a lot in the dark so wouldn’t notice really tbh

Go to 'Settings' from the main menu screen, select 'General', then change the 'Background Theme' to Dark.
