CarPlay dongle help please

I am looking to buy a CarPlay dongle for my iPhone . I want one that will mirror my screen including Netflix etc but will mainly use for imaps and music. Any suggestions ?

Also, if I leave it plugged in when I’m not in the car, will it drain my battery ?
