CarPlay Menu on Wrong Side

So this morning my partner plugged their iPhone into the car and CarPlay popped up as expected but the menu/status bar has appeared on the left hand side, rather than the right where it usually shows. Any ideas? Tried reconnecting and using a different cable. My iPhone still shows the menu/status bar on the right side?

I’ve seen on forums for other manufacturers that there’s usually a menu option for left/right in the car’s menu, but I can’t seem to find this in the MG car system…

In the settings for Android Auto on the phone/device there are options for Driver seat location (left or right) and also the layout.

Are there similar settings for Car Play on the individual phone?
