Charge rate from home charger.

I have a relatively new home charger 7kwh.
It seems to top out at about 6.2/6.3kwh when charging my MG ZS EV. What would cause this to happen.I never seem to get the full 7kwh capability.
I have a 100amp fuse in the supply box.

The car will only accept about 6.4kw. It is working correctly. The car determines the load not the charger.

We have an MG ZS and charger at 7.1kW from our home chargers, but have experienced lower delivery rates. Do you have any other loads on your system?

That's all I have ever got on my home charger. Likewise on one I used at a holiday accommodation.

As Nicko says the car charger is only rated at 6.4 kWh, this is what dictates the charge rate. Also if you rapid charge the car also dictates what it will accept, I've never had more that 75kW and that was at a low state of charge and a warm battery. Below is an estimation of what you can get when rapid charging.
