So my charging report!
1697 EU miles taking the MG5 up to 13747 miles. Amazingly, it now matches my previous winning car in miles (to the mile), countries and trips!
I rapid charged 20 times, adding 543 kWs for £218.68, so with home to Eurotunnel mileage added, 11p/mile and 3.56 miles per kW of charge added or 3.8 miles / kW used.
Chargers used: -
3x Izivia - 24-28p/kWh - simple, reliable but at McDs
4x Ionity - 28-31p/kWh on 50kW charger or 47p/kWh on faster - unreliable, slow & busy
1x Zunder - 48p/kWh - autocharge but in remote location without facilities
2x FastNed - 46-48p/kWh - autocharge
1x Engie - 57p/kWh - most expensive
1x Allegro - 47p/kWh at a supermarket
1x Total - 52p/kWh - I like these
1x Powerdot - 42p/kWh at a supermarket
6x Tesla - 41-45 p/kWh - app only and at hotels off the motorway
Winners: -
Izivia - so cheap at 24-28p/kWh
Fastned - cool & simple
Tesla - just so easy
Losers: -
Ionity - unreliable (lots of issues), busy but no waits, charged at well below advertised rates
Engie - expensive and old hardware
Zunder - poor locations
Of course, I avoided all UK chargers due to price.
