Whenever I download and try an app to find charging stations or charge at them, they all seem to have various colour codings for the chargers on the map but no key.

The latest is VendElectric, which apparently I have to use for holiday cottage charging. The chargers are blue or green but there seems like nothing obvious differentiating them. They aren't different speeds or availabilities.

This is the same for almost every app I've tried and I have half a dozen. Is it just me that's annoyed by that?

Zapmap and Electroverse both have a button to show you what the colours mean and you can you filters for just rapid units

Ah yes ok, obviously just needed to look a bit closer. PlugShare doesn’t that I can see but the orange ones seem to be fast and ABRP seems to be that the three lightning bolts are anything over 50kw.

Plugshare explain it on their website. Orange=Rapids, Green=Fasts, Grey=all stalls in use/unavailable.

Edit: I agree there should be some standardisation and use the same colours.
