I have an MG5 EV LR Luxury which I bought in January 2024 to replace my 1st generation Exclusive bought in 2021. I use a Rolec Wallpod, which I had fitted in 2021, to charge on the "smartcharge" setting generally. Within the last couple of weeks, when I have attempted to use smartcharging, the session drops out after a couple of minutes and I have to take smart charge off in order to get the car charging. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a "fix"?
I've spoken to Rolec and they wanted to charge me £150, plus an electrician's costs to fit and connect , to add an extra piece of hardware which .....might.... solve the problem.
I'd appreciate any help on this.
