Charging when finished?

Any thoughts on the car keeping charging when it claims to be finished. Just keeps drawing 10A from start to finish and shows no sign of stopping even when the in-car display claims to be 100% finished. Would expect current to fall away as it gets closer to full until it finally stops?

Is it equalising the battery cells?

The current will drop after a little while (there is a small amount of battery above'100%' which gets charged) then use between 1kW and 300W for about 2.5 hours to balance the battery. Stupidly the car says '100%, finished' when it should say 'balancing' or similar.

Panic over, finally dropped to a lower current. Obviously just timed it so I didn’t see the bonus charging last time out. Cheers Petriix

I might be wrong but I thought the "100% finished" changed to "connected but not charging" when it finished balancing.
