Climate control popup issues

Whenever I'm on Android Auto and try to change anything to do with the climate control using the physical buttons, I get a pop-up that overlays the Android Auto screen. However, it gets stuck on the display, which crashes, and I have to reset it by holding the home button, which affects the MG Pilot functionality.

Is this a common issue, and has anyone found a fix?

I experience the exact same on the ZS.

It's started to display the pop up on mine after I had the third service and they updated the firmware. I just touch the map above the pop up and it disappears.
