Clock time wrong

So on the Trophy I've manually set the clock time and enabled the GPS but it keeps going forward an hour or two. Anyone else had issues?

In the settings menu there's a "DST" option near all the other clock settings. It's daylight saving time, so it needs to be off (until the end of month). You would think the GPS would work this out itself but apparently not ?‍

When getting into car everyday it says welcome Jan 1st 2019 and the correct time and area location. It always says the 1st Jan how can I change this so it says the correct date?

Disable update of time via gps in the settings. It still reset for me on the DST changeover but doesn’t reset every start now at least.

I guess you've reported it to your dealer so MG gets a defect report and hopefully does something about it at the next software update

How to change voice announcement

Flick main screen to the left to get to settings.
Then its SETTINGS/VOICE/GREETINGS/CUSTOM then just type in what you want her to say.

Just be careful what you put in there as there doesn't seem to be any way of deleting the custom ones, even after you change it. Could be some entertainment for the service engineers ?

Maybe if you make enough of them they start overwriting at some point?

Try setting it to get the time from DAB.
