I topped my car up last night for a long journey today. At 95% last night it was predicting a range of 185 miles. This morning at 100% the predicted range is 189 miles. It is cold (5°C) this morning but this range seems excessively depressed. My XPower is one year old and I don’t remember it altering the predicted range in cold weather last year - but that might be my memory.
Am I looking at battery degradation after only 1 year or is it just cautious cold weather prediction?

My X Power at 100% charge in Summer showed 256 miles. I charged last night to 100% this morning it showed 189 miles,
and I expect it to be worse than that, if we get a really cold snap. My X Power is 15 months old and done, 10,735 miles
You will get less range in winter, simple's.
And the colder it is, the less you get. Doesn't bother me, that's just the way it is. 🙂👍

Yep! sounds about right, converting it to km/kwh its around 5 , for a lower spec one ( mine ) I am currently on 5.5 , a tad warmer and also with less weight and less reciprocal/frictional losses of the extra motor. There also might be a degradation loss of up to 5% in the first year , finding an exact figure is akin to proving the existence of dark matter.

These are my last year of charging stats giving what the efficiency would have to be for the car to reach the GOM estimated miles. Start is when the car was plugged in to the charger and end when the charger was unplugged. So even by standing still the GOM will change it's mind, I am assuming based on ambient temp and any battery balancing it has done during the charging session

Consumption showed 3 miles per kWh.

About normal then , 61.7 kWh usable so 185 miles real range
