Condensation in MG4 rear badge area.

Has anyone had problems with condensation around the rear MG badge area? I live in QLD OZ so the weather is hot at the moment. The car has only been out in the rain occasionally. it’s usually garaged. The condensation seems to appear for no reason. I was out today in the hot sunshine for a couple of hours - when I had returned home the condensation was there. Puzzling!

I get condensation from time to time around the rear badge area on my MG4 essence. I think that’s a trophy in the UK. I don’t do too many miles and the car is rarely out in the rain. Anyone else had a similar problem or can offer advice? It’s only done 5000 km so I’ll get it checked out at the dealership when I get the chance.

It's a common issue, search in the search function and you will find a thread, it's nothing to overly worry about unless you see water in there

It happens to most if not all MG 4s. In storms etc the rain is very heavy on the East coast of Australia and with the humidity at 100% moisture gets in and condensation appears. It goes away just as quickly. Nothing to worry about.

Check it out with the dealer if you can with it still occurring. Other than that show photos and keep a record.

It happens with my car all the time after going out if heavy rain etc but as it disappears almost as quickly as it forms I have never bothered doing anything about it.

I had this with mine. Eventually it filled up with water and become a mobile fish bowl. At this point MG agreed to replace it under warranty - but they won't do for mere condensation.
