My mg5 needs a coolant top up do I need any specific coolant or will any coolant do ?

Any OAT Coolant would do the job.
The system doesn't consume fluid though so you may have a leak.

How many miles have you done? Sometimes the systems have small airlocks which they burp out over the first few hundred miles.
