Could a system reset affect I-smart?

Hi everyone,

The ismart app on one of our two MG ZS just won't connect. I initially thought that's just how it is sometimes as the other car went through a period of not connecting.

However, thinking about it that wouldn't stay like that for very long and almost always it would work once the car had been used or put on charge.

I also realised that the previously reliable car hasn't worked since it's first service. They told me that they did a system reset. Wondering if this is the cause, has anyone had experience of this?

I will call the garage this morning.
