Hi. The MGS5 sold here in Singapore comes with a cover for the lower part (DC) of the CCS2 charging port.
I have been looking for a cover that covers only the AC portion of the CCS2 port, without success.

Any leads?

Thanks

I've just come across this one, it says it's for the MG4, but it might fit the S5.
Hi. Thanks for the reply and recommendation.
I have bought something similar to this, but it does not fit.

Also, I bought the first one you recommended too. Fit is not good but I am using it when I wash the car with jet. And then remove it during normal use.

Guess will continue the hunt😁

I have a 5 and an S5. The 5 has 2 rubber covers under the port but these are very necessary as the port faces forwards and isn’t well sealed. The S5 port faces sideways and is well sealed. However there is only one rubber cover under it on the DC connection. I tried the 5 AC rubber cover on the S5 and it fits well. All I need now is to find a crashed 5 to get the cover off.

I suspect that they only supply the bottom cover in order to protect the socket when charging on AC from rain ingress. If on DC then obviously both sockets are in use, and as you say the side charging port is well sealed when closed and it doesn't get the exposure that the front facing one gets.

This is exactly why MGs don't have twin covers.

I think the AC cover will be useful when washing the car, especially with water jet. In the manual, it does state to avoid jetting that area. I am thinking a cover will help.
