I have found this video that just focuses on the head unit, it gives a good run through on "what does what" and covers the buttons on the steering wheel as well.
Worth the 11 minute watch if you are a new owner of the S5.

Not even tried it on my car yet. Am I really missing anything significant?

I haven't tried OPD either. I can't see the advantage over not using it and there have been reports on the MG4 forum of the car reversing for a couple of feet when using it to stop on a downward slope possibly reversing into the car behind.

I'm also not keen on the idea of slowing in a line of traffic using OPD and the car in front suddenly brakes harder, will the time taken to switch your foot from over the accelerator to pressing the brake cause a change of grundies?

I am making a quick call to get your feedback on my use case.



Every morning, I leave home (1) and activate the one-pedal (UC with OP only). On the downhill road (not depending charge level), my MG4 regenerates strongly in this phase with peaks to -25.
The deceleration is not sufficient to stop before the panel, on the false flat going down I apply a little brake. (2)

I hear rubbing noises from the brakes, my car stops, I release the brake and then the...
