I’ve just had an invite to book the 1st year service by our local dealer - nearly 2 months before the actual anniversary - no problem on that just planning ahead I guess.
I asked for the price which is apparently £164.85 incl VAT(UKP)
We will have done about 8k miles by the time a year is up in October.

Here's an overview of prices in the Netherlands.
Whichever comes first: the mileage or the car's age.

The dealer sent me the service schedule details now see attached
So literally nothing at all on the first service beyond a visual inspection and spray grease on hinges. Looks like they've added wheel removal and sliver of coppergrease on the mating surfaces to give the impression something is actually done!

I'm going to begrudge paying for that if and when I get mine!

I begrudge too but on the other hand new model with low nos on the road maybe a more thorough (professional hopefully) check than I might do is no bad thing for peace of mind.

Agree. But keeps your MG warranty up, if you do need to make a claim. (Which may or may not help) 🙄 Plus renews your AA,
which is probably over a 100 quid at least. 🙂👍

The AA is actually a good point, so not so bad I suppose. It just gets me that if you didn't have this service done, they'd refuse warranty work if needed, even though the cause would almost always be nothing to do with missing the service!

Tesla as a company have many faults, but honouring the warranty irrespective of servicing is the one thing they get right.
