Hi all,
So I’m now working my way through the controls ( and voice commands - thanks for posting phrases). Now for my questions !
Does anyone know how to get radio station logos to show - all I’m getting is a box with an image.

Finally ( for now),does anyone know how navigation map updates work, I was going to set my “home” up but having gone in the nav system my road isn’t there. ( I live on a new build which was put up some two years ago), are map updates over the air or can I get them elsewhere?
As normal, your help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Don

Just giving this a bump with the hope that someone knows how to get updates ( unfortunately not even the dealer is sure !)

I don't have the car yet. But I remember when I discussed updates with the Sales manager he did not seem so sure that we will be getting many OTA.
He gave me the impression that for any big updates we may have to visit the dealership.
Again take this with a pinch of salt.

AI feedback:

Yes, the IM LS6 supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates. Early software versions initially required dealership updates, but subsequent versions (e.g., version 3 and later) enabled normal, convenient OTA functionality for owner.

Wonder which version the UK cars have...

I suspect they are just pushed to the car as and when…..
That was my initial thought having looked on-line but I live in a new build house ( built just over 2 years ago) and not even the road is showing on the nav. It’s not a great problem as I often use google maps via car play. The worry is that if they can’t sort out small updates OTA how are the bigger car ones going to fare

That’s a bit of a worry if we only get an update for the car perhaps once a year when it goes in for service !

I’m 2.5 years in with my MG5 and still don’t have any radio station logos!

Need to choose either an IM6 or Enyaq as next company lease. Enyaqs get OTA updates!

Enyaqs is a good car and has just had a refresh, seems to be highly rated by reviewers

I’ve just come out of an enyaq into my im6, two completely different cars. The enyaq is quite good but it also has its own software problems ( but at least you do get OTA ). The build quality is pretty good but the im6 beats it hands down for comfort and driving.

My expectation is that with IMs OTA will be available, but there will be some updates that still require a dealer visit. This is actually the normal position with most manufacturers.

This setup is also the baseline that people expect. Yes, Tesla's approach is better but the competition doesn't have to match Tesla, just be good enough that the experience doesn't put people off.

I'm also hoping this will become true with MGs too, although my faith in this has been sorely tested.
