DAB temporary Radio. I have a pre-facelift MG5 LR.

My MG5 LR das a bodged DAB radio. I was told by the dealer this was a temporary item to be replaced by a recall. For anyone who hasn't seen this it uses the second USB port that connects to a module in the glove box and an Antenna fixed to the front windscreen. Has anyone who has this bodge had theirs updated? The radio has reduced functionality compared to my old MG5 ICE. I was told this was due to a chip shortage.

There is another thread on here where MG UK are saying this is the permanent fix. Its annoying as you can't save channels and get the information. IO also use both front USBs so can't use it either.
