Dash cam position ZS EV

Does anybody know the best position for dash cam. I have tried several positions behind the rear view mirror in the centre of the window, but each time it stops the speed detection working, and beeps constantly over 30mph.

What dashcam is it? Do you mean the cars speed sign recognition?

I have my dashcam mounted under the rear mirror. Had no issues like you mention

I hate seeing wires and tape everywhere

thanks for comments. I have another problem, not really on this thread.... but when i go over 30 mph i get a dinging, i thought it was a warning over speed limit, but even when the dashboard recognises a 40 mph sign and i increase to 35-40 it still dings.
I don't know if i done something wrong in settings

This goes back to the earlier post that I thought the dash cam was covering one of the cars cameras, which when I took the dash cam out it still went ding,...which brings me back to here

Have you checked your settings, if my memory serves me right there is a speed warning setting that you choose the speed you want if you go over that speed which ignores the camera speeds and bongs to warn you, handy if you are driving in a city at lower speeds or you want to set it for the motorway, you can switch it off, can't remember which part of the infotainment screen it's on
