I know it has no GPS.

Don't think it will fit on right-hand drive cars. The position of the camera is asymmetrical and that looks like its for LHD cars.

I asked some sellers few weeks ago, no plan for RHD version yet.

I just installed my old dashcam (a Garmin 66W) behind the rear view mirror, on the driver's side.
It doesn't intrude on my vision at all.

It’s just a suction pad powered from the 12v or USB socket , currently in my old car until my mg4 arrives. No installation required apart from trying to hide the power wire

I wonder if MG could add software to output the existing camera footage to a usb drive, as teslas do

I've just removed that one from my current car in readiness for the delivery of my MG4 next week.
It is expensive but includes GPS and blue-tooth connection to your phone. The video is not as sharp as more expensive ones but clear enough for most purposes and I would recommend getting the polarising filter for it.

Yes eventually. I'll piggyback off a switched fuse and run the wire around the edge of the screen but to start with I might use the 12v socket.
