Hi,

Has anyone debadged their MG4? If so, can you share photos? Especially if you have Camden Grey :)

I'm collecting my MG4 tomorrow or Thursday and getting it ceramic coated right after collection, and I'm trying to decide what to do about the badge, as I'm not a big fan. I know I can cover it with a black stick-on badge. My thought is that the ceramic coat will be easier to apply if they remove the badge first.

Thanks,
Mr. M

Do it, it will look better and just a tad easier to clean. Only had mine just over a week. But gonna do mine as soon as i get chance. ??

Yes!

I did mine and it looks a lot cleaner,

It’s due a wash but I’ll try and get some pictures over ?

Just added debadging to my ceramic coating job, as I've just been told the company currently has a 20% discount this week :)
Why not let a professional do it essentially for free... kind of.

Pay attention on debadging: the badge is so well glued, that you'll have to destroy it to take it off.
Even by heating it, it will be damaged when you pull it.
I removed mine and finally I replaced it by a new one, that I painted in black before. This because I do not like the plastic black badge cover.
The ceramic coat will be great :) (y)

I presume you are talking about the front badge ? .... if so just beware that there is also a recess where the badge goes so you will be left with indented body work where the badge goes. Someone did some photoshops a while ago with the badge removed.

You can see it on this photo around the edges if you click on it to zoom in more. You'll be left with a blank Octagaon indent if you debadge.

Wow, thanks for sharing. That is quite a recess hey. Oh well, looks like I'll be sticking the black cover over it then.
