Delivery Delay (First Post)

Hi All,

Finally got around to ordering my company car last week, went for an XPower on a 2yr lease.
As it's a company car it's ordered direct from MG and not through a dealership, and they gave an expected delivery date of 20/10/24.
This was then pushed to 20/11/24 and updated today to say 21/02/25.

Is anyone aware of any stock shortages/delay reasons? I guess on the bright side, it should 100% be a post October 23 build.

I thought they had these laying about, ordered mine 4th August, delivered 5th September. It was ordered through a dealer though.

Maybe not so bad then.

I saw others in the UK say they were getting them in 2 weeks, but I'm guessing they can't take my order from dealer stock and are having to bring it on the next shipment.

I hope so, I'm praying it comes with most of the software bugs and physical updates done as it's not coming until 2025. ?

Racing Green, which after reading other threads, could also be the cause of the delivery delay.

You chose the right colour, mine is racing green.

Can you get your fleet manager to ask what the delay is?

Not sure how they can move your delivery date 3 times in a week.

I'll have a word with our account manager on Monday, see if they can hurry things along.

Every vehicle I own leaks, so not ideal for winter. Mini Cooper S has a leaky convertible hood, camper van has leak around the side door, and motorcycle isn't likely to keep me dry.
