I now understand your confusion .. Blackpool in summer time is officially the third largest Scottish town/city so calling the M55 a Scottish motorway does have some justification. couldn't find a Scottish flag so just rub out the bits you don't want.

Think you've just picked out the 'family' trim model there. In total, looks like around 47,000 ID.3's sold in UK and just over 500,000 worldwide

Since its launch in mid 2020 to Dec 2025, VW UK have sold 51,470 ID.3s. They sold 9,097 in 2025.

There doesn't seem to be an equivalent link to MG UK sales figures breakdown by model (at least w/o paying the SMMT for access maybe).

Definitely see a lot of ID3s about, good car although I do prefer the refresh when they removed the raised black bit of trim that was between the bonnet and bottom of the windscreen

Yes. My neighbour has had one for about 3 years now. He lent it me for a drive down our shared private road when the MG5 got written off. Might almost have got a 2nd hand one if the MGS5/S6 deals hadn't been so tempting.
