Having upgraded from a MG4 Trophy to the MGS5 Trophy I've noticed some improvements and a few penny pinching omissions. I won't list them all. I leave that to the rest of you 😁

The improvements include:
The DRLs no longer illuminate when doing a remote preheat of the cabin or screen defrost. The indicators just flash once.
There are courtesy lights in the back and grab handles.
There is a USB socket in the housing for the rear view mirror for a dash-cam

Penny pinching:
Manual dip for the rear view mirror
One touch up and down only on the driver's window
No sun glasses holder

I recently did the same and would agree, apart from I miss the handling of the 4 (just a little bit😈)
Grip is better in the s5 though.

Check out ali xpress for some visor clip on sunglass holders, ive tried the soft suede version, and the hard plastic version. Both do a decent job, but they can look a bit off when you stare at them 🥸

And also the auto switch between light and dark modes of the main screen, now becomes more apparant with the dark mornings.
Have now switched to permanant dark settings, as this is just about ok for driving daylight in bright sunshine

One touch windows - I had previously read that this was meant to be present on all windows on Trophy models. I felt a bit annoyed it was a Trophy-only feature. Guess that was wrong 🤔

On the S5 you can activate the speed limiter, auto or manual, from the steering wheel without having to go into the menu on the infotainment screen and turn off the ACC then select manual as you do on the MG4. Also if you are in speed limiter mode and you want ACC you don't have to reverse the process.
