Under what conditions will we receive a warning about dangerous proximity to the vehicle in front? I never receive such a warning. The dealership claims that it is fine and that we should trust the system.

strap some cushions/pillows to an empty plastic trash bin and drive towards it at increasing speeds until the alert is sounded.Thanks. It's probably impossible to test. How can you be sure the system is working? It's not like other distance-keeping systems like mobileye.

It doesn't have to be shaped like a car, a small wall also causes the alert, so does a lamp post or even a person.I did it. I just bumped into the cardboard boxes. I was told it had to be shaped like cars.
