Hi. Does anyone have the problem of the car freezing on them when starting. Twice I have pulled off the driveway once in reverse, once forwards and the steering has locked and the accelerator done nothing. Had to switch off and back on a couple of times to recover the system but was stuck blocking the road.

without actually seeing what you did it is hard to comment fully. I’ve not had the car freeze once starting to pull away - are you rolling? Is the HV battery engaged? it is possible to turn the drive selector to D Or R without the HV battery engaged - this will give similar symptoms and the car won’t move unless on a slope. When you get in the car always hold your foot on the foot brake and then press the start button. after a second the word ready appears at the bottom of the main display directly in front of you. You shouldn’t have any problems engaging drive and pulling off then.

We do have a sloped drive yes so that could be the issue that I am not pushing hard enough on the brake. Will look out for that READY notice now. Thanks

Sometimes it's not how hard you push but how long you hold the brake pedal. Keep your foot on it until the "READY" appears on the screen.

I don't think this is true. I started off today without the drivers door being fully closed and the car moved along but bonged continually.
I must have a newer update to you coz I just checked it again.. and every time you realease the foot break it goes back into park

Mine won’t let me drive off without my seat belt unless I manually take of the electronic handbrake. If I don’t have my seatbelt on it goes back to park.
