Does anyone use their wireless charging mat. Other use.

Hardly ever use. Phone always plugged in for Android Auto and it sits in the tray with the slider open.

I use mine - but then I have the Android/USB cable running up to the wireless charging pad (for those who haven't discovered it yet, there's a hole to run your cable up on each side of the wireless pad - just lift the pad cover off gently).

My wife WOULD use it, but mine seems to have a fault. It’s intermittent at best. I’ve tried it with several very different phones, with no change. I should get it seen to on the warranty, but it’s too small a thing to be bothered.

I use it for shorter journeys, but don't believe it charges my phone or my wives either, both phones 12 months old. However I have a decent cable for use with Android Auto etc when required. Not essential so not going to get it looked at.

I’ve got the same issue. Doesn’t charge either my or my wife’s iPhone 16 even with the case off. Is there an indicator light which comes on when it is active?

The phone will show it's charging when the matt is active. Mine works fine.

My phone doesn't charge wirelessly anyway & I have 2 USB C cables poking up through the mat, 1 for charging only & the other for AA or AC. Wireless charging is quite slow anyway.

Nope. Two issues. Firstly my phone doesn't have wireless charging. Second is that the phone doesn't stay on the mat anyway, it flies off under acceleration. And it's too long to even sit on the mat properly with a lead through one of the holes.

I just stuck a magnetic mount to the dash between the two screens to hold it. I don't actually use it in the car but I don't like it rattling around in the centre console.

Mine stays in my trouser pocket and if I'm only going on a local journey I don't even bother to connect it to the car.
mine connects automatically when I enter the car via the bluetooth dongle. I get in place the phone on the mat and drive away, bluetooth connects automatically by the time I pull away, easy.
