Does not charge above 40%

Just brought my car to the MG garage. It turns out that my car does not charge above 40% (used different stations, speeds and passes) since a few days. Has anyone else had this problem? And what was your solution? The timing is very inconvenient, I was supposed to leave for a car camping holiday tomorrow afternoon. The garage will read the data first thing tomorrow morning...

Have you checked what the charge limit is set to, it is probably been set to 40% by mistake?

I would just check that the setting in the car is the same as what the app says, they have been known to be different.

I assume you didn't check it before you took it to the garage, I still think it is the most likely. I had it happen to me were the car didn't update when I changed the app setting.

I leave mine on 100% now and let the charger control everything.

I think that might be this bug where the thing resets to 40%. Had it happen once. Keep us updated

Ah, is this a well-known bug? Turned out that indeed the car had a charge limit of 40% all of a sudden. Luckily an easy fix and happy to know where to check if a similar thing happens again.

Generally people had it happen, also on the discharge limit setting (V2L) where the set limit isn’t always enforced and another limit overrides. Anything new on your side?
