Does voice control work on MG4 Standard?

I’ve searched to try and find if the MG voice control (not Siri,etc) works on the Standard. Nothing I’ve read says Trophy only, but I press the steering wheel button and nothing happens.

You don't need to press anything. Try saying "Hello MG" and see if it responds.

AFAIK the SE doesn't support Hello MG.

Decided after having my car for 4 months I decided to actually try voice control. Works really well. I was saying please to each command , I'm I being a bit silly ?

Sorry to resurrect an old one, is this the same for short button presses on the steering wheel?

I think the SR doesn't have its own voice assistant and this button is for CarPlay/Android Auto, but nowhere states this specifically.

I'm currently pressing the button repeatedly and asking it to do stuff (nothing seedy) and it's ignoring me.
