Driver Door Stay bolt comes undone

Hi
The bolt to the A Pillar on the Driver Door Stay keeps coming undone.
I have had to nip it up 4 times since just before Xmas, when the car went in for service.
The yoke that the bolt head sits in moves when you open the door, making a very loud clicking sound.
Is this a known "undocumented feature"
What causes it
Should I just keep nipping it up
Or should I get the Loctite Threadlocker Red and Loc it in place
