driver door stuck

My wife had a problem with the car today, replicated when she got back to the house.

Turned off car ignition, inside driver door handle wouldn't open door, passenger door handle worked fine so she clambered over and got out.

Same thing happened when she got back home, I opened it easily from outside. I got in, closed door and had same issue, not opening from inside but will from outside.

I pressed start button twice with foot off brake to turn on system, thinking I would roll down window and open outside handle. tried inside handle and door opened. Turned off car and inside handle worked several times.

Anyone else had similar?

Happened on my MG5. The external handle hadn't fully gone back in place and once pushed in the internal handle was fine.

Car going in to check issue with door handle. happening regularly now.

Car went in to be looked at today, for the last 10 days or so we were unable to open door from inside. had to open window, stick arm out, open door from outside, close window and turn off car.

Needs new door latch system. should have parts friday.

That's not bad for getting the parts in, obviously the part(s) must be in the country.
