Eco mode and level 3 regen in icy conditions

My 2024 SE would not let me set up my normal driving preferences this morning. Which is eco mode with level 3 regen, SOC was 50% and there had been an ice warning from the car, when selecting the level 3 regen setting the car messaged me that full regen was not available ( as if I had 100%soc) is this the car protecting me from too harsh regenerative braking that could cause the car to skid?

Possibly that the battery temperature was too low to support the amount of power that full regen would send to the battery, so the BMS was protecting the battery pack?

Forgot to say, the car let me use level three regen in normal drive mode.

I always found level 3 regen in ECO mode to be more aggressive than in normal mode. So maybe there’s a link?
Or the message might be delayed: do you scroll through Snow mode in between?

Yes the scroll takes me through the snow mode, which correctly changed the regen mode to 1, could be a software glitch affecting the eco mode I suppose, later in the day when the ambient temperature rose the car behaved as expected.
