Nope mirrors now not operating with locking.... work from the button inside though??
The dealer will run your VIN number and check if the wiring loom replacement is required on your car.
My car was first registered at the very start of Jan 2020.
When the car was offered up for it's first service on the 15th Jan 2021 the drivers door wiring harness was flagged up and replaced under a recall service bulletin from MG.
If your car requires the loom replacing, then tell them to keep the key as far away as possible from the car when they replace the loom !.
If the key is close to the car when the work is done, the car will interpret this as an attempted theft and close down the car.
Sounding the alarm every time the 12 volt battery is connected !.
It will also decode the key and the car will be rendered completely dead.
Ask me how I know all this.
My car was stuck at the dealership for a couple of days until MG Tech advised on a fix.
The second spare key had to be delivered to the dealer, which brought the car back to life.
But them both keys had to be totally recoded to the vehicle.
