Have you tried changing the regen to A when using ACC? I find it mellows the approach a bit, although I agree the ACC should really be able to do this on its own.
Maybe. But it could have been something like a calibration of cameras or radar as well. Just curious...
Surely the Pedestrian Alert is a legal requirement?
I tried it today, maybe slightly better but not really that noticeable. For instance, on the m-way and speed set at 68 mph, came to a slight downhill the speed at the crest was 67 mph, returned to 68 as the down started, then applied the brakes (well regen at 22) down to 66, then accelerated again. Pretty poor I'd say. ACC is still slowing far too harshly approaching slightly slower vehicles in front.
True, I only use it when I'm on a fairly empty stretch of highway, it's definitely something they can improve on a lot.
I think the improvement in efficiency is more likely due to the increase in temperature.
Keeping an open about that. For the last thousand miles I've been getting better efficiency figures than I would normally see in summer weather. I can't simply put this down to resetting the GOM after sc077 update...
Depending on who did it or how nice they are my SE SR had a BMS update. It really changed how it behaved with a LOT longer balancing to begin with almost like I could cram more into the battery not battery efficiency. It was a tiny update I did myself, worth keeping in mind.
