Extended Warranty

Coming to the end of my 3 months warranty and am wondering about extended warranties any thought on this?

I absolutely would get a warranty of some sort if you don’t have one. Remember - these are cheap cars made cheaply. Parts availability is dire too, so bear that in mind also.

I assume you meant 3 years not 3 months.

Here in Australia we get 10 years warranty and 5 years roadside assist

@RTB bought his ZS second hand in April, so he's probably referring to a 3 month Dealer warranty.

It should still have some manufacturers warranty remaining though.

How old is the car ? Manufacturers warranty is 7 years and , as long as it been serviced in compliance with MGs recommendations , breakdown assistance is renewed every year or service

I looked at this some time ago and the costs is crazy, just put that money aside in a separate bank account and use when needed and make sure you have free AA cover from MG when you do regular annual service in one of the MG garages

Yes 3 month dealer warranty, it does still have the manufactures warranty
