Fifth year service

I booked in my mg5 pfl sr for ours fifth year service and a mot. The guy adviced this one contains the coolant flush and it would cost £415 no big deal considering the price of petrol atm

Anyone else booked in theirs for the fifth service yet? Was the cost similar?

It's booked in for June so got a few months to save.

I had a similar quote for the 5th service.

I went to MG and got a 2 year service contract including MOTs for not much more than the single 5th service and MOT.

Worth a look - and you can pay monthly after the initial payment for the 5th which was over £100 less than the dealer quoted.

I've just had a quote for £380 for the fifth yr service. The car has 66k miles on it so the warranty runs out in 12k miles or approx 10months. I would normally only maintain the service history to retain the warranty, so I would effectively be paying £380 for 10months warranty provision. I wouldn't be paying for services beyond the warranty period. Do I get it serviced?
