Flashing indicators

Just noticed today that when using ACC and the car has come to a stop behind a vehicle with ACC still engaged, I noticed that the indicators flashed a few times. Is this normal?

Sounds like its probably the
Rear Collision Warning (RCW) system operating, its meant to alerts drivers behind you by automatically and rapidly flashing the vehicle's hazard warning lights when it detects a high risk of a rear-end collision or when you brake hard.

I ended up turning it off under MG-Pilot settings as it also seemed to randomly operate when someone in an adjacent lane approached at speed to pass while I was stationary waiting in traffic.

This has been reported many times. It seems to be oversensitive and I've even seen it triggered in stationary traffic (stationary in my lane but moving in an adjacent lane). I just see it as a quirk of the car.
