Fluid on windscreen on inside of car

I occasionally get fluid (feels like silicon oil) slowly leaking down the inside of the windscreen, from the left hand side of the mirror pod. Any ideas?

I think the washer bottle tube for the rear washer jet runs up that A pillar . There are other threads on this which suggest a junction piece may have separated in that area. Is the rear jet getting any water? Others have said this could run into the fusebox and cause bigger issues.
