Why are parts so hard to find for the MG4.

I have a 2023 XPOWER and the front drivers side suspension arm (or lower control arm as they’re sometimes referred to) is failing.

Does anyone know where to source this part or any other MG4 parts for that matter?

I would replace the bushes but I also can’t find any of those, unless I go down the universal poly bushes route but I don’t know exact dimensions.

Thanks

Mine's a Trophy so may well be different, but my dealer replaced some front suspension bushes under warranty at it's second service. I did have to wait for them to get them in stock. So if you can't find them anywhere else, hopefully dealers can supply the bushes you need for your Xpower.

I also have this problem. MG Bognor surprisingly couldn't find anything on 1st July but another MG garage correctly identified it Wednesday this week (noise and ride was getting worse OSF and NSF). Problem is MG haven't been able to deliver parts to dealership so I have a HS petrol for the weekend and hopefully get the Xpower back early next week.

Out of interest did your XPower ever have the 65-75mph vibration issue?

Yes I had/have the issue. 75% of my driving is non-motorway so not been a major issue. Be nice if it has magically gone once I get the car back. Leave expires next May anyway.

Was just wondering if excessive wear is another side effect of what is causing the vibes

Vibes are from the factory. My mate noticed mine the first drive.
Sorry got this the wrong way round, my car also had the vibes from new. I meant to say does the vibe issue contribute to premature failing of the suspension parts as these are the bits that were replaced in the single example of a working solution to the vibes from ilukey77

Could be connected. I'm sure a keyboard mechanic will let us know if completely wrong. Finally have car back and definitely feels better with bushes replaced under warranty.

Ah ok, I get you
