Got MG ZS hybrid+ for a week

Yes, it's the mirror toggle for adjusting the side mirrors, press up or down. However, once you start to drive the mirrors will come back out!!

Oh really. OK that must be on option chosen in its annoying ( at first) MG Pilot controls.

There is conversations going on to not use the ECO but number 2. Dealer set my car up for me as that and I have not had this problem.

5000 rpm does not add health to an internal combustion engine. I also plan to go to the importer's main garage and hear what they say and what they plan to do about it.

We have the same problem with reving to extreme levels, took the car back to the dealer, and they said it was ok

Me the same I took it back they said all is well in the car.

Hi,

I got an MG ZS hybrid for a week now. Positives: feels good on the street, feels safe and big, nice to sit in. Negatives: white seats already have some black color in it, then there is a Big "problem": maybe it is not a problem maybe this how the hybrid system works, but this problem really sucks, that the engine revs so high on the slightest hill and really struggles to accelerate on steep hills. I hope I can hear from you if this is a problem in my car or it is just how the system is built ?the

I have the same problem the garage are saying it is a characteristic of this model but no one mentioned it when I bought it .MG main office say there was an issue but the factory have looked at it and have deemed it as a characteristic of this model the car is going into the garage for a check on Tuesday .I have asked for a full refund as it not fit for purpose.they are already saying there is nothing wrong with the car and there will be no refund even before they even check it over not happy thought you could just drive the car without all the over revving noise when on a hill .

Thank you for the reply .if there is a fix why would no one at MG own up to it, and wait for over a week, and many phone calls and e mails, before they ask me to bring it in for a check? as I say thanks for the heads up. I will be asking about the update

Same here my friend I bought new car and then high revs on the incline and the company telling it's the characteristic of the car and no refund.

MG after sales is deplorable.Parts are also hard to get, especially for new models as there is no back catalogue.Heaven forbid you are involved in an accident,your car could be off the road for weeks.MG will never admit that the Hybrid ZS has any issues.They tend not to install updates until you have handed over your money and left the forecourts.I would advise potential buyers to insist on updates before purchase.

Hi I bought an MG ZS plus in May initially pleased with the car then the battery ran out of charge , thought it must have been my fault. The AA came and got it going. With the battery low I couldn’t open the doors. I’ ve been very careful since but the same thing happened this morning when I had an important meeting. I just can’t handle an unreliable car. The AA mechanic said that the battery was no good. I have booked an appointment with an MG garage end of June but they can’t do anything until 5th August! Either very busy or lots of problems to fix . In hindsight I would not have bought it and I don’t recommend anyone else to, not reliable .
The battery seems to be a problem for a number of people.

You must be very unlucky.Did you get all the updates before you handed over your money.I have had no such issues as have members of the Forum upon getting the updates.

Report him to MG pronto.
