Granny cable, length?

Hi,

I really must get round to using the granny cable that came with the car at some point. Can anybody advise how long the cable actually is please - the car ain’t here at the moment & the cable‘s inside it.

Same, cars not here, but the mains lead is only about 30cm long! From memory, the type2 lead is about 3m

@mystreet is correct. Just got back in and the cable is 3 metres - the box and lead to the plug only adds about half a metre so you would need to be within 4 metres from your socket. Sorry to have misled you earlier.

If you need it to be longer, try this Extension cable it's what I used until my charger was installed

I went to Toolstation earlier & got the bits and made my own 15m cable. I’m not intending to use it that often, but it will be invaluable when we visit the son and can (eventually ) stay overnight.
