Had one hour for myself this weekend, so grabbed the opportunity and went for a short, spirited drive on some winding roads near my current location. Roads were a bit wet, so I turned off ESC/TC and enjoyed some neutral-to-oversteery corner exits. Great fun.

The polarizing filter and maybe the camera profile did that to the colour. It's definitely a bit less orangy most of the times.

Aye there’s nothing like a couple of bonny hills, a wee loch and a braw skyscape to sell your shortbread ( or venison or mutton …….)

One day when I was out canvassing for the council elections, my last call of the day invited me in to his conservatory and started to talk about landscape, and the reasons why particular landscapes call to us, and the importance of not messing these up (by, for example, erecting wind turbines right behind a neolithic field system, which was the hot topic of the month). It was a really interesting conversation.
