Great day out with your MG? Post up a picture ?

Forgive me for sounding like a complete ID 10T, but how do you do that? As you can probably guess, I'm fairly new to this.

Using software on a laptop/ PC?

If you are on a laptop or mobile....

Steps to Crop and Save (Mobile & Desktop):
  • Open the Photo: Open the Google Photos app (mobile) or go to photos.google.com (desktop).
  • Edit Tool: Tap or click the Edit button (usually a slider icon or labeled "Edit"). This is in the top right and is the second symbol from the left

  • Crop: Select the Crop/Rotate tool.
  • Adjust: Drag the corners or edges of the photo to the desired size. You can also select preset aspect ratios (e.g., 16:9, square).
  • Save: Click Save (desktop) or Save copy (mobile).
  • Tip: You can use the "Auto-frame" feature in the crop menu to let AI adjust the framing.
Key Considerations:
  • Save Copy: On mobile devices, after cropping, Google Photos often requires you to save the edited photo as a new copy, rather than overwriting the original.
  • Undo/Revert: You can always open a saved image and click "Edit" -> "Revert" to restore the original image.
  • Other Tools: Within the same editor, you can also rotate, flip, or use the "Perspective" tool to fix, for example, a slanted image.

Just looked up the spec. of my 15T Pro and it says it has 5x optical zoom.

But thank you both. I shall now expand into taking pictures of wildlife and I shall try both methods, using 5x optical zoom and the enlarge/ crop method.

All the other information is really handy too. There are so many features on this phone and in particular the camera that I am unaware of, so it's good to start playing around.
