Headlamp failure

Headlamp doesn’t light up after front glass was pierced by stone. Surely some of the leds in the sealed unit should still work ?

Well it would appear not - no idea how much a replacement unit will be but sit down before they tell you ?. May well be an insurance claim - good luck!

Available from AliExpress for £260 ish and used on EBay for £370. I'd get a price from your dealer first.

MG quoted £737 for the headlight and £330 for 2.5hrs labour to fit it.

You were right. MG quoted £737 for the headlight and £330 for 2.5hrs labour to fit it. And they wanted the light paid for before they’d order it!

That labour cost is disgusting.
The light is so easily accessible I cant believe the cheek of it.

I'll have it done in 10 minutes for you.
15 at a push.

Caveat: Unless the bumper needs to come off and then maybe it's an hour.
