Headlight flash staying lit for 1 second

When the headlights are set to auto high beam, if I flash someone to let them out of a junction or to thank someone etc instead of lighting for a split second the high beams come on for about a second before turning off. I end up having to push the stalk away from me to turn it off.

Anyone else have this issue? It's so problematic I've had to disable the auto high beam.

Yes that's normal, I have disabled this feature, too.

I wouldn't call it normal - it's got to be a software issue surely!?

Hope it's a software issue so MG can fix it with an update.

You and me both. Other than that I find my auto high beam is not too bad.
