Heated Seats not working through App.

Hi All,
Has anyone had problems with the App and heated seats? I can pre heat my 2025 HS Trophy PHEV, however, when I try to switch on the heated seats, the App says it’s been successful, but the seats aren’t switching on. They work perfectly when operated using the in car screen! Many thanks.

I have only just discovered I have this issue too on my HS PHEV due to the cold weather we have now, ie remote climate ok but no heated seats after the app claiming successful activation, I have done a search on this but the only mention of this problem is a post from 2022 where someone replied that MG disabled the remote heated seat function but no one seems to know why, the car is due it's first service soon so I will raise the subject with the dealer.

And I thought it was just my imagination that it wasn't working. I've adjusted the seat heating several times via the app, even twice in a row, but the seats weren't warm at all. However, they don't get properly warm anyway.

When activated via the car infotainment screen I have been happy enough with the seat heat although they seem to take awhile to get up to temperature hence why it would be helpful to turn them on with the app a few minutes before getting to the car at least the climate works ok with the app which is good.
