Help, bent wing mirror

Expletive deleted! Bent my wing mirror way back the wrong way on a weird box stuck out in a supermarket parking place. It is beyond how far it is designed to move, towards the front of the car. I have bent it back a little way with pushing but it is now stuck and l am reluctant to force it.
Any helpful (!) suggestions would be much appreciated. Chris

I haven't tried this, but the mirrors are usually designed to fold backwards in such circumstances without breaking, it'll probably need quite a strong tug to get it back to the middle position, so unless you think you're feeling a definite obstruction, I'd try 'forcing' it a little.

I've just done a quick video to show how the mirror folds backwards, as I said in the previous post, it's designed to do this without breaking, just in case you accidentally knock it.

Over and above the call of duty , that could have ended up on Harry Hills bloopers video programme , still only 250 quid though. Has inflation stalled in the UK?

LOL, when you start a new thread anywhere on the forum, you can choose whether it's a Discussion, Article, Poll or Question, it's set to Discussion by default.
