Holes in the Underbody Cover

Couldn't help notice the holes in the underbody cover in the video. I had read that this is for speaker to make a sound to warn pedestrians? I have checked everywhere on mine which is an Australian model extended range and there are no holes and no sound emitted. Can anyone enlighten me?

Not required yet in Australia and so not fitted???

New rules mean electric cars and hybrids need to make more noise in Australia... but they'll still be quieter than petrol or diesel cars.
